Pakyov was born from a simple belief: there are moments when life must stop rushing. When the sun is shining, the water is blue, and the only decision you have to make is whether to turn to the other side. We are here for those moments. Not to impress you. But to accompany you.
Why do we do small?
At Pakyov, small and slow is the whole point. We believe a swimsuit should carry a history - tied to the summers you live in it and the feeling that it was made for you, not for everyone. When a series is small, every detail is considered and every seam is checked, and what reaches you is made with intention - from the first sketch to the last seam.
How a series is born
From the sketch to the last stitch - everything passes through our hands in Sofia.
Each series starts with an idea that we draw, transform into a model and try out until we feel that the cut is right.
We choose the fabrics personally - fabric by fabric, because they determine how the swimsuit will fit, how it will withstand the sun, salt and weather. We sew in small batches, without rushing, so that each seam gets the attention it deserves.
And before a piece goes to you, it goes through personal control - we check the hem, the seams and every detail to make sure that what you receive is finished as it should be.
Momchil Pakyov
Momchil graduated from the Academy of Arts with a degree in Industrial Design - where his interest in fashion turned out to be significantly stronger. He spent 10 years in advertising and UX design.
Pakyov started as a hobby, and the beach theme came naturally. Today, each series is born from his hands, sketches and choice of materials.
